Our 21st Na’amat Canada Triennial National Convention — Resilience, Renewal and Hope is just over a month away, and we hope you’ll make the decision to be part of it.

Convention only happens once every three years. It is one of the few opportunities we have to bring Na’amat members from across Canada together in one place — not on Zoom, not by email, but together in person.
It’s a weekend to reconnect with old friends and make new ones.
To share ideas and experiences.
To hear directly about the work we are making possible in Israel.
To learn, laugh, celebrate and be inspired.
And most importantly, it’s a weekend to remind ourselves what it means to be part of Na’amat Canada.
We have planned an exciting program of speakers, discussions, activities and entertainment, culminating in our Banquet Dinner & Installation on Sunday evening.
But a great program is only part of what makes Convention special.

Every member who attends brings something to the weekend. Your friendship, your ideas, your experiences and your commitment to Na’amat are what turn a program into a true National Convention.

Convention Registration: $400
Na’amat Canada members in good standing are eligible for a $250 travel subsidy, helping make it easier for members from across the country to join us in Montreal.

It's Time for New Kitchens - Supporting Daycare Centres across Israel
Before a child sets foot in the centre...
A lot has already happened.
The rooms are being prepared. Supplies are being organized. Staff are getting ready to welcome another busy day of learning, play and care.
And in the kitchen, preparations for the day’s meals are already underway.
Long before lunchtime, there is planning, preparation, cooking and organizing to make sure children have nutritious food ready for them as part of their day.
It is part of the daycare experience that families may rarely see, but it touches every child.
The kitchen is part of the care.
A well-equipped kitchen helps staff prepare and serve meals safely and efficiently. It supports the daily rhythm of the Centre and helps ensure children receive the nourishment they need to learn, play, grow and thrive.
But many of these kitchens have been serving their communities for years and now need to be modernized, and that’s where we step in.
Na’amat Canada is helping renovate and equip kitchens in Na’amat Daycare Centres across Israel, modernizing these spaces so they can continue supporting children and staff for years to come. Because a good day starts before the doors even open.
Your contribution will help provide updated equipment and improved kitchen spaces where thousands of everyday moments begin.

Our calendar is distributed throughout the Montreal community to families, friends, supporters and local businesses. In addition to approximately 1,000 printed copies, a digital version is shared with more than 800 email subscribers, featured on our website, and promoted through social media, reaching hundreds more in our community.
We are also happy to provide participating businesses with calendars to distribute to their customers.

Our Clubs
Na'amat Canada Montreal is made up of three vibrant clubs — Allon, Daroma, and the Ghita Segal Group. Each has its own personality and traditions, but all share a passion for supporting women and children in Israel and Canada. Whether you're looking for fun social events, meaningful community service, or close friendships with like-minded women, you'll find a place to belong with us.
Meet Our Clubs
Allon Group
Established in the early 1980s by a group of young women, the Allon Group quickly grew to over 50 members within a decade. After a long hiatus — during which members focused on raising families, building careers, or relocating — the group has reunited for a new era. Today, the Allon Group gathers for social events and community service initiatives.
Daroma Group
This senior group has been instrumental in developing many Na’amat leaders over the years, including Montreal and National presidents. Known for their outstanding programs and fundraising efforts, these dedicated members continue to guide and support our organization in meaningful ways.
Ghita Segal Group
Formed in the early 1960s by a close-knit group of friends, this club officially joined Na’amat at the 2014 Convention. Despite some members relocating to warmer climates or closer to family, they remain deeply connected — meeting weekly on Zoom. Their activities include engaging speakers and a book club, and they actively raise funds for Na’amat scholarships for women in Israel.
What We Do
Rhodie Blanshay Benaroch Multipurpose Centre
Located within the Glickman Centre for Family Violence Prevention, this children’s centre holds a special place in the hearts of Montreal members. In memory of Rhodie z”l, whom many knew and loved, we are committed to supporting and enhancing this vital project. Our fundraising efforts ensure the centre continues to provide the highest level of care for children in the shelter.
Montreal Calendar
Each year, we produce a community calendar — available in both print and digital PDF formats — featuring Jewish and secular holidays, Montreal candle-lighting times, and advertisements from local supporters. Community members can include birthdays, anniversaries, and yahrzeits through donations. Distributed free of charge, the calendar supports local businesses while raising awareness about Na’amat.
Mah Jongg Cards
We sell official Mah Jongg League cards annually, with all proceeds supporting our projects and initiatives.
Each of these initiatives is made possible by the generous support of donors, community partners, and volunteers. By working together, Na'amat Canada ensures that children and families — both in Israel and locally — receive the resources, care, and encouragement they need to thrive.
