“The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.”
If this sentiment resonates with you, then we would be honoured to have you join us. Our clubs, with members ranging in age from 20 to 90, can be found throughout the Greater Toronto Area.
|
Our members will tell you that we joined Na'amat to help the women and children of Israel, but what we get back is so much more than what we give. Organizing fundraising events, educational and social programmes, has led all of us to form a very special sisterhood, with friendships lasting a lifetime.
If you are interested in becoming a member of an organization that truly makes a difference, please contact our Toronto office at 416-636-5425 or info@naamattoronto.ca. If you'd like to stay in touch with us to hear about our fundraising projects and events, please feel free to forward us your email address so that we can subscribe you to our monthly e-newsletter. If you're on Facebook, please follow us at Na'amat Canada Toronto (http://www.facebook.com/home.php#!/groups/naamat.toronto?ap=1)
We welcome your wisdom, your friendship and your passion to help others!

Our Clubs
Na'amat in Toronto has a rich foundation steeped in the tradition of working women and volunteers going back to the days when we were known as Pioneer Women. Through the generations, the daughters and granddaughters of the women of clubs Avodah, Borochov Women, Chadera, Club One, Dimona, Eilat, Galila, Golda Meir, Hanita, Havah, Independent Women, Omna, Rachel and Shalom have followed in their footsteps – transferring their passion for the women and children of Israel.
We are very fortunate to attract young and some unaffiliated members as well, who's families may not have been involved as “Pioneer Women”. These young women chose Na'amat as part of their philanthropic future and we are thrilled to welcome them and continue to grow our organization as a vibrant and multigenerational place to be!

School Supplies for Kids
School Supplies for Kids is a Na'amat Canada project that aims to equip children who are being sheltered in domestic violence centres in Toronto with school supplies, educational material and personal effects.
