Club Simcha-Kadima members are from theThornhill and North Toronto area, aged 45-65. They had a very busy year both with fundraising and programming and social events.
In March they had their “Sweet Sixteen Bingo” event at the Borochov Centre.
Their stimulating programs included a Psychologist, handwriting analysis, social activist in Richmond Hill, a therapist discussing medical problems with make-up and natural skin care, presentation about Jewish refugees in Germany attempting freedom on the S.S. St. Louis. To raise funds for Dollars for David, they held a Pot Luck dinner for members. The club has been selling Hostess Gifts and jewellery in various venues. This year they are adding a new fundraising event to improve women health so that they can continue to work for Na'amat in good health.
