Rimon

Club Rimon was formed in 2002 by a small group of women, many of whom grew up with Na'amat Canada. We have since grown into a large vibrant chapter, forty strong and counting, of women in our thirties. Most of our members have young children and many also work outside the home. Although our interests and backgrounds are varied, we are all united in our common commitment to Na'amat and the State of Israel.

We meet monthly for programs that include speakers, demonstrations, sales, and swaps. We organize ongoing fundraisers such as the sale of Norene Gilletz's “The New Food Processor Bible” and Keepleaf Reusable Baggies. Our large scale successful fundraisers have included events featuring guest speakers such as Life Coach to Moms, Carly Cooper; relationship expert, Gary Direnfeld; and parenting expert, Sarah Chana Radcliffe. We previously have organized successful Preschool Fun Fairs and, more recently, collaborated with another Club on a sold-out “Kidstock” featuring a concert with a number of local popular children's performers and many fun activities for children.

Shorashim
Shorashim (meaning "roots") is a group of young mothers who started out as a baby group who met while caring for their firstborn children during maternity leave.  When these moms started heading back to work, they wanted to find a meaningful way to keep the group connected.  Na'amat Toronto, with its mission to help women and children, was a cause close to their hearts. These active moms look forward to raising funds in support of Na'amat and to fulfilling their organization's mission to be "women dedicated to providing a community of support that nourishes intellectual and spiritual growth while embracing Jewish traditions".
