Together—B'yachad, our chaverot and their family members shared in a memorable, fun, and exciting experience as we celebrated Israel's 60th Anniversary. Our Convention saw the inauguration of our National President, Rivka Shaffir, and our 2008-2011 Board of Directors. We were all emotionally moved as we toured the Achva Daycare Centre, the Kanot Agricultural High School and the Na'amat Canada Glickman Centre for Family Violence Prevention. We shared many special moments together, visiting so many wondrous historical places in Jerusalem, the Dead Sea, Masada, Tiberius, the Golan Heights, Safed, Tel Aviv, Jaffa, and beyond. Our experiences together have helped to strengthen our bond to Na'amat Canada and to Israel.
